“Star Character” is your very own character, born from the arrangement of the stars at the moment you were born.
On top of the Sun sign (your outer face) used by magazine horoscopes, we blend in the Moon sign (your inner heart) to reflect both “you as others see you” and “you on the inside.”
The zodiac signs fall into four elements (Fire, Earth, Air, Water). Four Sun elements × four Moon elements = 16 characters in all. You are exactly one of them.
The reading calculates not just the Sun and Moon but all ten planets — Mercury, Venus, Mars and the rest — and which sign each one falls in. Your Star Character reads you with all of that behind it.

The four elements
It’s an astrology reading that blends your Sun sign (outer face) and Moon sign (inner heart) to sort you into one of 16 “star characters,” then reads your personality and fortune from all 10 planets. In Japan, it goes by its Japanese name, “Hoshi-Kyara.”
Your birth date alone is enough. Adding your birth time also computes your Rising sign (Ascendant) for a more detailed result. If you don’t know it, you can leave it out.
Magazine horoscopes look only at your Sun sign. Star Character blends in your Moon sign and calculates all 10 planets, so the result is yours alone.
